KP Models 0493 1/72 Sopwith Triplane 'RFC and captured German'

Plastic model kit of the British World War I fighter plane Sopwith Triplane.

The machine was designed, like the Sopwith Pup, by Herbert Smith, so the apparent similarity of the two aircraft should come as no surprise. The prototype, flown by test pilot Harry Hawker, first flew in May 1916. The Sopwith Triplane, manufactured by the Sopwith Aviation Company, was built in total in approximately 150 units.
