In 2026, USAF A-10C Thunderbolt II serial 80-0267 served with the 74th Fighter Squadron, Flying Tigers, at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. The aircraft received a striking heritage paint scheme inspired by the World War Two Flying Tigers, featuring the famous shark mouth and historic markings honoring the American Volunteer Group. During the year, 80-0267 also became one of the first A-10Cs equipped with the new probe refueling adapter, enhancing its ability to support combat search and rescue and close air support missions by refueling from HC-130J aircraft at low altitude.
