Air Force 1 AF1-0147 1/200 USAAF Boeing B-17

The B-17 Flying Fortress was the most known bomber of WWII. It was well known that the first versions of this bomber were exposed to frontal attacks by German aircraft. Later variants of B-17 bombers were equipped with weapons with improved power to counter powerful German attacks successfully. This B-17 Flying Fortress, named Nine-O-Nine, in service with the 323rd Squadron, 91st Bombardment Group stationed at RAF Bassingbourn in 1944 is an excellent rendition of this famous USAF heavy bomber.
