The StuH 42 Ausf. G was a German assault gun used during World War II. "StuH" is short for "Sturmhaubitze", meaning "assault gun" in German. The Ausf. G model was a development of the earlier StuH 42 versions, specifically the Ausf. F version. The StuH 42 Ausf. G was mounted on a Panzer III or Panzer IV tank chassis, allowing it to move effectively on the battlefield.
