Herpa 562843 1/400 CSA Czech Airlines Airbus A220-300

2024 marked the end of CSA's existence as an independent airline. Following financial difficulties, it had operated a single A320 on a single route (Prague-Paris) a year earlier. Founded in 1923, CSA still has a future, at least visually. The remaining A320s, along with four new A220s, which have been arriving gradually since November 2024, will be operated by former competitor Smartwings under the CSA brand and livery. OK-FYD is the fourth and currently last of these brand-new aircraft to enter service, opening up a future, albeit smaller, for this once large and renowned airline. Following the announcements in the 1:500 scale (Item No. 538640) and 1:200 (Item No. 573740), this Czech A220 is now also being released as a limited-edition new model in the 1:400 scale. A small display stand is included.
