UM Military Tactics MT692 1/72 BT-2 Tank with Experimental Turret

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Russian BT-2 tank, fitted with a 76.2mm gun.

This kit reproduces the prototype 76.2mm gun-equipped turret designed at the Krasny Putilovets factory with new injection parts. The track is an injection plastic link-and-length type, and photo-etched parts are also included.

The BT-2 is the first mass-produced BT series based on the American M1930 tank. It was developed for the purpose of supporting cavalry units and long-range invasion by taking advantage of its excellent mobility. Similar to the prototype Christie tank, this vehicle removes the tracks, connects the rear starter wheel and the rear ground wheel, attaches the steering, and changes direction with the front ground wheel to enable wheeled driving.
