Mikro-Mir 72029 1/72 Caproni B.72

Introducing a completely new molded product from Micromill Ukraine.

This ground effect water torpedo plane is believed to have been researched by the Italian company Caproni in the 1930s.

The aircraft is powered by two Isotta Fraschini Asso 1000 W type 18-cylinder water-cooled engines, each with about 1000 horsepower, and is armed with two 450mm torpedoes and a defensive rear turret. Its estimated speed is between 65 to 80 knots (120 to 150 km/h). However, it was considered difficult or impossible to maneuver in wave conditions of class 3 or higher (wave height over 1.25m), which is why this project remained only a proposal. The kit includes one type of decal.

When completed, it will measure approximately 140mm in length and 104mm in width.
