FMS introduces a wonderfull scale model of the Flying Tigers Curtiss P-40B. The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk is an American single-engined, single-seat, all-metal fighter and ground-attack aircraft that first flew in 1938. The P-40 design was a modification of the previous Curtiss P-36 Hawk which reduced development time and enabled a rapid entry into production and operational service. The Warhawk was used by most Allied powers during World War II, and remained in frontline service until the end of the war. It was the third most-produced American fighter of World War II, after the P-51 and P-47
Made of painted EPO foam, and factory decaled, this FMS 1400mm P-40B is the perfect model to access to the warbird category. The built-in retracts reproduces the special cinematics of the real plane. Functionnal slat-flaps allow reduced landind speed and distance.
The powerfull brushless motor make very fast passes possibles, and vertical maneuvers can have a realistic size. The tri-blade prop add more realism when you stop the motor.
The many details such as panel lines or the external tank makes of this plane a real scale model. Motor, ESC and servos factory installed.
