The Texas Ship (BB-35) is the second ship of the New York-class battleship and the second ship of the United States Navy named after the State of Texas. She served the United States Navy for 34 years and became a living witness to the war years. She participated in the 1914 Mexican Tampico incident, escorted the Allied ships in a major war, was more active in the Atlantic during the Second World War, North Africa, participated in the Normandy landing, and then moved to the Pacific Ocean to assist the Allied forces to land in Iwo Jima and Okinawa. In World War II, he won five battle stars. After the decommissioning, the Texas was converted into a floating museum in Houston.

The reason why the Texas is famous in the world is its many historical records. She is both the oldest and most fearless ship in the United States, and the few ships in the world that have served in two major wars.

As far as the United States is concerned, the USS Texas was the first US battleship equipped with air defense anti-aircraft guns and modern fire control systems, catapulted military reconnaissance planes, the use of CXZ radar signals, and the installation of a CXAM-1 radar, and was permanently converted into a museum ship. And is rated as a national historic landmark in the United States.
