Revell 05650 1/48 75th Anniversary Northrop F-89 Scorpion

The F-89 Scorpion was the United States Air Force's first two-seat all-weather fighter aircraft.

It was also the most heavily armed fighter aircraft ever built. In 1950, the F-89D series appeared with extensive modifications. A combined fuel/missile canister at the wing tip could hold 1165 liters of fuel and 52 FFAR missiles. The next major series was the F-89J.

The kit for the Scorpion comes on a scale of 1:48 with 120 parts and is particularly suitable for advanced model builders.
