The Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet is a twin-engined multirole carrier fighter aircraft, a larger and more advanced developmentsof the F/A-18C. The Super Hornet is an evolutionary redesign of the Hornet, developed to replace the cancelled A-12 stealth attack aircraft and the F-14 Tomcat. Its overall size has increased by 30% and its maximum take-off weight has increased by 6 tons. The Super Hornet forms the core of the U.S. Navy’s air power and will continue to serve alongside the F-35. Designed and initially produced by McDonnell Douglas, the Super Hornet first flew in 1995. MENG releases this brand-new tool licensed by The Boeing Company.
