TE Lawrence led the Arabs to victory in the First World War against the Turks; he earned recognition from Winston Churchill and hero status among his compatriots. Lawrence bought this particular Brough Superior in 1932, which, like all other George Brough motorcycles, was custom-built to his specifications. The SS100 was the best motorcycle of its time and known as the Rolls Royce of motorcycles. Lawrence engine reached a high speed of over 160 km / h in the early '30s. Lawrence called his Brough "Boanerges" (son of thunder) and drove three years across the country. His last journey ended fatally only 450 yards from his home, after losing control of the bike after an evasive maneuver. The cult motorcycle still exists today, unrestored, with the famous registration number GW 2275. Among the classics, it is the most famous motorcycle in the world.
