To ensure good pilot visibility, the 1,780hp Jumo 213A water-cooled V12 engine was mounted in the center of the fuselage, with the cockpit located in the nose. Armament was planned to consist of two 30mm cannons in the wing, two 20mm cannons in the fuselage, and one aerial bomb under the fuselage.
