Bandai 0159924 Space Panorama Battle / Empire City Space Battleship Yamato

Bandai's legendary small-scale Yamato Mechanic Collection models were all the rage back in 1979. Their Space Panorama series, being reissued now for the first time since then, was a great way to get several of these detailed kits at the same time.

This set includes an Earth Defense Force patrol cruiser, battleship, and two destroyers facing off with the White Comet Empire dreadnought and double-deck carrier. Each kit is molded in one or two colors, so paint will be needed for the ships to look their best after assembly (with glue, natch, just like back then). When completed, the models can be attached to the included diorama background for display!
