Like its full-scale counterpart, the FMS 80mm Rafale features an attractive trim scheme, excellent scale details and fully functional canards- allowing the aircraft to be truly unique when compared to other 80mm EDF aircraft on the market today.

Developed to replicate both the looks and performance of the real aircraft, FMS has dedicated it's decades long experience into designing the 80mm Rafale. Details such as the pilot, cockpit interior, panels, removable armaments, auxiliary fuel tanks, refueling probe, targeting sensor etc; dynamic features such as functional LED navigation and landing lights, CNC shock-absorbing electric retracts, functional canards and flaps etc.

Designed by the French Dassault company, the Rafale is a highly maneuverable delta-winged fighter with a full-flying canard. The excellent dogfighting, carrier operations and air to surface attack performance of the Rafale has allowed it to gain worldwide sucess.

Functions such as delta-mixing, sequential landing gear bay doors, alternating flash navigation lights, nose gear landing lights, slowed flaps etc are all controlled by a central control board. An 80mm 12 bladed EDF with a platinum edition 3280 inrunner motor and 100A high performance ESC easily accomplishes fighter jets maneuvers with realistic sound and speed.

Like all other FMS aircraft, the 80mm Rafale was designed to reduce build time to a minimum. Utilising screws, latches and quick connectors, experienced builders can complete the build process in as little as 5 minutes.

The Rafale comes with the free Reflex flight stabilization system. 2 years in the making and after hundreds of test flights in all conditions, the Reflex system features Stabilized (accelerometer and gyro), Optimized (gyro-only) and Manual (off) flight modes- a trusty co-pilot, perfect for pilots of any skill level.

Extremely high degree of prefabrication Like all other FMS aircraft, the 80mm Rafale was developed with the aim of reducing the construction time to a minimum. Thanks to the use of screws, latches and quick connectors, experienced model pilots can complete the building process in just 5 minutes.

Built-in electronics The complete electronics are built into the model. The 80mm 12-blade impeller is powered by a 3280 internal rotor and a 100A high performance regulator. 7 digital servicemen with metal gears execute the control commands quickly and reliably. Functions such as delta mixing, sequential landing gear doors, alternating flash navigation lights, nose landing gear lights, slowed down flaps, etc. are all controlled by a central control board.

Reflex stabilization system

This model comes with an FMS reflex system programmed especially for this aircraft. This electronic stabilization system was developed to support the pilot with control commands, but not to disturb them. The reflex system works with both PPM and SBUS inputs and works natively with all common remote control systems. If the reflex system is assigned to a 3-channel switch, you can choose between 3 different modes:

Stabilized mode

When you let go of the control sticks, the model is automatically brought into a neutral flight position, which offers beginners and inexperienced pilots a lot of security in dangerous situations.

Optimized mode

The gyro system of the reflex system counteracts external influences such as gusts of wind or cross wind and keeps the model precisely in a stable position.

Off

The reflex system can be switched off completely. The FMS Reflex System is specially set for this flight model. No further programming is required. The FMS Reflex system can be linked to all receivers with at least 4 channels.
