Biante Model Cars are extremely proud to announce a very special item to celebrate the exceptional history of the Australian produced Holden Commodore. The first and last Australian built Commodore twin set in both 1:18 and 1:43 scales.

This stunning set will include the very first VB SL/E Commodore that Holden used to promote the new car in 1978, and the very last VF SSV Redline to roll off the production line in October 2017. By happy coincidence both are featured in the available red paintwork of the time (Flamenco Red for the VB , and Red Hot for the VF). Additionally, just to add more weight to the family lineage, both are sporting V8’s under the bonnet. A more fitting combination could not be more appropriate for this nostalgic Holden duo.

The 1:18 versions will come in fully opening parts so you can completely admire and examine all the changes to the Commodore over the course of the 40 years that took place between the VB and VF. The smaller 1:43 scale versions will be closed body but will still show an amazing level of detail for such small representations.

We’re not just hanging our hat on the models themselves either. The packaging for these will be carefully designed as special flip-top presentation boxes that will display extremely well by themselves and showcase some incredible artwork and imagery of these 2 stunning cars.

Produced in die-cast, both these remarkable sets will be made strictly to order and will only be available for a short time. They will come as a limited edition with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity and a special brochure outlining the history of these two important bookends to the life cycle of the Australian made Commodore.
