During World War II, the U.S. Army Air Force requested North American to develop a double-seat fighter that could take turns to reduce the burden on pilots during long-range missions. Therefore, North American decided to develop a twin-body fighter that connects two P-51s as P-82 in order to shorten the development period. The P-82, which first flew in June 1945, was not deployed to troops during the war, but as a derivative, the long-range fighter type F-82E, the night fighter type F-821F/G, and the F-82H for cold regions was made, and in the Korean War that began in 1950, jet fighters were operated in situations where long-range combat and night combat were not possible.
Comes with a painting mask seal, photo-etched parts, an additional tank and HVAR rocket bullets.
Ailerons, landing flaps, and lift are all separate parts.
Decals for four U.S. Air Force versions are included.
Approximately 26.9cm long, 32.5cm wingspan when completed
